Eastsound is an unincorporated community on Orcas Island in San Juan County, Washington, United States.Eastsound is the largest population center on Orcas Island, the second-most populated and physically largest of the San Juan Islands. Take a break from the city and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Tommy Thompson Trail. Get a sense of the local culture at Island Studios and Arctic Raven Gallery. Venture out of the city with trips to Friday Harbor (Schooners North, IMA - San Juan Islands Museum of Art, &more), Anacortes (Cap Sante Park, Guemes Channel Trail, &more) and Lopez Island (Lopez Island Vineyards, Chimera Gallery, &more). Spend the 5th (Wed) exploring nature at Sucia Island State Park.
