Springfield is a city in western New England, and the seat of Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States. For shopping fun, head to Schantz Galleries Contemporary Glass - by appointment or Tom Fiorini Sculpture Yard. Do some cultural sightseeing at New Britain Museum of American Art and Yale University Art Gallery. Hartford to Springfield is an approximately half hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train. Expect slightly colder evenings in Springfield when traveling from Hartford in January, with lows around 16°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly to Lahaina.
