More than just a convenient resting place for travelers on their way to the national park encompassing the Front Range of the Rockies, Estes Park is a popular place to visit in its own right.
Do your shopping at Images of Rocky Mountain National Park and Kirks Flyshop & Mountain Adventures. Take a break from the city and head to Trail Ridge Road and The Beach at Grand Lake. Take a break from Estes Park with a short trip to Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark, about 30 minutes away. The adventure continues: cruise along Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, stop by Earthwood Artisans, and contemplate the waterfront views at Bierstadt Lake.
