Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Go for a jaunt from Las Vegas to Boulder City to see Hoover Dam about 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take in breathtaking views at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, see the interesting displays at The Mob Museum, try your luck at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, and make a trip to The Strip.
