Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Step out of the city life by going to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Mount Charleston. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Valley of Fire State Park and River Rafting & Tubing.
