With its strip malls and fast-food restaurants, Fairbanks appears a bit functional on first glance.
Take a break from Fairbanks with a short trip to Santa Claus House in North Pole, about 40 minutes away. Spend the 15th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
