Haleiwa is a North Shore community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Waialua District of the island of Oahu, City and County of Honolulu. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Ko Olina Lagoons and Keawaula (Yokohama Beach). Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Shark Diving and Waimea Valley.
