Vernal, the county seat and largest city in Uintah County is in northeastern Utah, United States, about 175mi east of Salt Lake City and west of the Colorado border. Take a break from the city and head to River Rafting & Tubing and McConkie Ranch. Go for a jaunt from Vernal to Manila to see Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area about 1h 15 min away.
