Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Get in touch with nature at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Surf Lake Powell. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Navajo National Monument and The Chains. There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend, enjoy some diversion at Gunfighter Canyon, get lost in a book at Page Public Library, and get outside with Wahweap Overlook.
