Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
On the 18th (Thu), get your bearings at Fordyce Bathhouse (Vistor Center) and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers.

Lafayette to Hot Springs is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Traveling from Lafayette in April, things will get a bit cooler in Hot Springs: highs are around 73°F and lows about 52°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Thu) early enough to drive to Little Rock.

Start off your visit on the 19th (Fri): admire the masterpieces at Arkansas Arts Center, browse the collection at William J. Clinton Presidential Library, then view the masterpieces at Butler Center Retail Gallery, and finally steep yourself in history at Little Rock Central High School.

Kick off your visit on the 20th (Sat): take in the spiritual surroundings of Thorncrown Chapel, take an in-depth tour of The Walmart Museum, admire the masterpieces at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, then take in the exciting artwork at The Birdcage, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Iris at the Basin Park.
