Big Bear Lake is a small city in San Bernardino County, California, located in the San Bernardino Mountains along the south shore of Big Bear Lake, and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Wed): go deep underground at Gold Rush Mining Adventures and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Castle Rock Trail 1W03. On the 25th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stop by Village Sweet Shoppe, explore the landscape on two wheels at Pine Knot Trail, then grab your bike and head to Alpine Pedal Path, and finally identify plant and animal life at Big Bear Alpine Zoo at Moonridge.
