Biloxi

— 3 nights

Playground of the South

A busy city on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is one of the nation's oldest communities, first settled by Europeans in 1699.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum and Richards DAR House Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Mobile Police History Museum. Take a break from Biloxi with a short trip to Grand Bear Golf Course in Saucier, about 38 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Old Biloxi Cemetery, don't miss a visit to Hurricane Katrina Memorial, take a leisurely stroll along Biloxi Lighthouse Pier, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

For more things to do, where to stay, other places to visit, and other tourist information, go to the Biloxi trip builder tool.

September in Biloxi sees daily highs of 88°F and lows of 72°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
