Biloxi

Playground of the South

A busy city on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is one of the nation's oldest communities, first settled by Europeans in 1699.
Step off the beaten path and head to Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and GulfQuest - National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico. History Museum of Mobile and Walter Anderson Museum of Art are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Biloxi side-trips: Mobile (The Fort of Colonial Mobile, Bienville Square, &more). There's much more to do: try to win big at Beau Rivage Casino, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Michael's Catholic Church, look for gifts at Shearwater Pottery, and don't miss a visit to Hurricane Katrina Memorial.

To find ratings, other places to visit, more things to do, and tourist information, you can read our Biloxi trip planner.

Expect a daytime high around 69°F in March, and nighttime lows around 54°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
