Historic High Country
A small resort town located in Georgia's "Historic High Country," Blue Ridge sits right on the national scenic trail that follows the Appalachian mountain range for over 3,300 km (2,100 mi).Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Point Park - Lookout Mountain Battlefields will appeal to history buffs. Get outdoors at Long Creek Falls and Carolina Outfitters. Change things up with these side-trips from Blue Ridge: Boundary Waters Resort & Marina (in Hiawassee) and Mountain Farm Museum (in Cherokee).
