Boogie Town

The northernmost New York City borough, the Bronx has many claims to fame, including being the birthplace of hip-hop and home of the New York Yankees.
On the 30th (Fri), admire nature's wide array of creatures at Bronx Zoo, then take in nature's colorful creations at New York Botanical Garden, and then don't miss a visit to The Garabedian House. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the natural beauty at Wave Hill and then revel in the low prices at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Burlington is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Vermont and the seat of Chittenden County. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): sample some tasty brews at a beer tour and tasting, explore the galleries of ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, then look for gifts at Lake Champlain Chocolates, and finally stroll around Waterfront Park.
