Cincinnati — 3 nights

Situated on the north bank of the Ohio River, Cincinnati distinguished itself as the only U.S. city that left a favorable impression on one of its most famous 19th-century visitors, English author Charles Dickens.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Cincinnati: Boone County Distilling Co. (in Independence) and National Museum of the US Air Force (in Dayton). There's still lots to do: learn the secrets of beer at a beer tour and tasting, appreciate the history behind Cincinnatus, explore the different monuments and memorials at Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum, and get to know the resident critters at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

Atlanta to Cincinnati is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Atlanta in April; daily highs in Cincinnati reach 66°F and lows reach 43°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sat) so you can catch the flight back home.
