Mount Shasta is a city in Siskiyou County, California, at about 3600ft above sea level on the flanks of Mount Shasta, a prominent northern California landmark. Your day by day itinerary now includes Lava Beds National Monument as well as McCloud Falls. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Mount Shasta and Lake Siskiyou. There's still lots to do: take a peaceful walk through Shasta-Trinity National Forest and stroll through Mt Shasta Ski Park.
