In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.

Head to Ala Moana Center and Menehune Macfor some retail therapy. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Diamond Head State Monument and USS Arizona Memorial. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Waikiki Beach, contemplate the long history of Iolani Palace, don't miss a visit to Makua and Kila statue, and stroll the grounds of National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
