4 days in Hot Springs Itinerary

Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Mount Magazine State Park and Grand Promenade. Change things up with a short trip to William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock (about 1h 25 min away). There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Garvan Woodland Gardens, steep yourself in history at Fordyce Bathhouse (Vistor Center), pause for some serene contemplation at Anthony Chapel, and immerse yourself in nature at Lake Catherine State Park.

In October, daily temperatures in Hot Springs can reach 78°F, while at night they dip to 55°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
