Circle City

Indiana's capital and most populous city, Indianapolis is best known for its racecar events and impressive museums, and as the hometown of Kurt Vonnegut.
Get some cultural insight at Children's Museum of Indianapolis and Brown County Pioneer Museum and Old Log Jail. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Indianapolis: Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino (in Anderson), Madison (Lanthier Winery & Clifty Falls State Park) and Oliver Winery (in Bloomington). There's lots more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Indianapolis Museum of Art, stop by Rocket Fizz, examine the collection at The Eiteljorg Museum, and browse the exhibits of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

To see traveler tips, other places to visit, ratings, and tourist information, go to the Indianapolis road trip website.
