Derby City
Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.Kick off your visit on the 12th (Fri): gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: see the interesting displays at Kentucky Derby Museum, sample the fine beverages at Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co, then see the interesting displays at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, and finally sample the fine beverages at Angel's Envy Distillery.

Columbus to Louisville is an approximately 3.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or fly. In February, Louisville is somewhat warmer than Columbus - with highs of 47°F and lows of 29°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Lexington.
