Derby City

Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Conrad-Caldwell House Museum (Conrad's Castle) and Spring Mill State Park. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Historic Locust Grove and 21c Museum Hotel. Get out of town with these interesting Louisville side-trips: Wilstem (in Paoli) and Virgil I. Gus Grissom Memorial Museum (in Mitchell). There's lots more to do: admire the majestic nature at Falls of the Ohio State Park, walk around Iroquois Park, Head underground at Louisville Mega Cavern, and see the interesting displays at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.
