Saint Ignace

Saint Ignace, usually written as St. Kick off your visit on the 16th (Thu): snap pictures at Mackinac Bridge. Here are some ideas for day two: take an in-depth tour of Museum of Ojibwa Culture, meet the residents at Museum Ship Valley Camp, then make a trip to Soo Locks, and finally shop like a local with Bird's Eye Outfitters.

Kalamazoo to Saint Ignace is an approximately 5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Kalamazoo in July, you will find days in Saint Ignace are slightly colder (73°F), and nights are about the same (58°F). Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island.
