Moscow is a city in northern Idaho along the state border with Washington, with a population of 23,800 at the 2010 census. Explore Moscow's surroundings by going to Palouse Falls State Park (in Washtucna), Seven Stars Alpaca Ranch (in Coeur d'Alene) and Old Mission State Park (in Cataldo). The adventure continues: admire the natural beauty at Arboretum & Botanical Garden, examine the collection at Northern Pacific Depot, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Silver Mountain Resort, and admire all the interesting features of Washington State University.

If you are flying in from Russia, the closest major airport is Spokane International Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Moscow can reach 12°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
