4 days in New Braunfels Itinerary

Built upon the back of an older cotton-producing town called Gruene, New Braunfels pays tribute to its heritage by maintaining part of the historical town--its post office, general store, and dance hall among other buildings--inside the city limits.

Get in touch with nature at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area and Hamilton Pool Preserve. Explore New Braunfels' surroundings by going to Fredericksburg (Grape Creek Vineyards, Wildseed Farms, &more). There's still lots to do: cool off at Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels, contemplate the waterfront views at Landa Park, mingle with the ghosts of the past at Gruene Historic District, and get engrossed in the history at Texas Agriculture Education and Heritage Center.
