Kill Devil Hills — 1 night

Start off your visit on the 28th (Sun): glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, then get outside with Outdoor Activities, and then visit a coastal fixture at Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Museum. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sea views from Bodie Island Lighthouse, then explore the striking landscape at Jockey's Ridge State Park, and then contemplate the long history of Wright Brothers National Memorial.
