Start off your visit on the 4th (Thu): steep yourself in history at Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, contemplate the long history of Battleship New Jersey, contemplate the long history of Christ Church, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Independence Mall, then ponder the world of politics at Independence Hall, and finally pause for some photo ops at Liberty Bell Center. On the 5th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Washington Memorial Chapel, contemplate the long history of Fonthill Castle, then steep yourself in history at Michener Art Museum, and finally stroll through Kelly Drive.

Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): steep yourself in history at The Amish Farm and House, get engrossed in the history at Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, then take a stroll through Amish Country, and finally steep yourself in history at Wheatland.

Traveling from Philadelphia in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Lancaster, with lows of 66°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Gettysburg.
