Home of the Hershey Chocolate Company, the town of Hershey is regularly referred to as the sweetest place on earth.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Thu): explore the fascinating underground world of Indian Echo Caverns and then identify plant and animal life at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of The Amish Farm and House, wander the streets of Amish Country, and then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Troegs Brewing Company.

Philadelphia to Hershey is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or do a combination of train, flight, and taxi. Expect a daytime high around 82°F in June, and nighttime lows around 64°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Fri) to allow time to drive to Gettysburg.

Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Sat): take in the history at Confederate Trails of Gettysburg, then take in the views from Sachs Covered Bridge, then contemplate the long history of Eisenhower National Historic Site, and finally explore the striking landscape at Devils Den. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun): steep yourself in history at David Wills House, contemplate the long history of Little Round Top, explore the wealth of natural beauty at The Eternal Light Peace Memorial, then get to know the fascinating history of Shriver House Museum, then have some family-friendly fun at Victorian Photography Studio, and finally contemplate the long history of Dobbin House Tavern.
