A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Step out of Pigeon Forge to go to Hartford and see River Rafting & Tubing, which is approximately 54 minutes away. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 14th (Sun) at Dollywood. The adventure continues: sample the fine beverages at Sugarlands Distilling Company, catch some excitement at Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, observe the fascinating underwater world at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and see the interesting displays at Titanic Museum Attraction.
