Center of Fun in the Smokies

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Visiting Mount LeConte and Gatlinburg Trail will get you outdoors. Titanic Museum Attraction and Fowler's Clay Works will appeal to museum buffs. Take a break from Pigeon Forge with a short trip to Spruce Flats Falls in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, about 30 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: look for gifts at Christmas Place, get to know the fascinating history of Old Forge Distillery, sample the fine beverages at Sugarlands Distilling Company, and look for all kinds of wild species at Roaring Fork.
