Tyler — 1 night

Kick off your visit on the 16th (Fri): learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Caldwell Zoo, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary, then immerse yourself in nature at Tyler State Park, and finally appreciate the history behind Camp Fannin Veterans Memorial. On the 17th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Tyler Rose Garden, look for all kinds of wild species at Cherokee Trace Drive-Thru Safari, and then let the kids burn off some steam at Brookshire's World of Wildlife Museum and Country Store.
