America's Hometown

Rightly calling itself "America's Hometown," Plymouth holds a prominent place in the nation's history and culture as the site of the first Puritan colony.
You'll get in some beach time at Nauset Beach and Coast Guard Beach. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Plimoth Patuxet and Race Point Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Provincetown (MacMillan Wharf, Dolphin & Whale Watching, &more). There's lots more to do: make a trip to Plymouth Rock, admire the natural beauty at Brewster Gardens, stroll around Nelson Memorial Park, and take an in-depth tour of The Jenney.

To see ratings, other places to visit, photos, and more tourist information, go to the Plymouth trip maker site.

Princeton to Plymouth is an approximately 5.5-hour car ride. You can also drive; or fly; or take a train. In August, daily temperatures in Plymouth can reach 81°F, while at night they dip to 61°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Tue) so you can go by car back home.
