Pocatello is the county seat and largest city of Bannock County, with a small portion on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in neighboring Power County, in the southeastern part of the U.S. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pocatello: Snake River Greenbelt (in Idaho Falls), Craters of the Moon National Monument (in Arco) and Mesa Falls (in Ashton). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Museum of Clean, look for gifts at Poky Popcorn Shop, take an in-depth tour of Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Museum, and witness a stunning natural landmark at Lava Hot Springs.

For other places to visit, reviews, more things to do, and more tourist information, refer to the Pocatello trip website .

In September, daytime highs in Pocatello are 77°F, while nighttime lows are 45°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
