With coastline on the west, south, and east, Newport is a maritime city with a rich history.

On the 10th (Mon), take in the waterfront activity at Newport Shipyard & Marina, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, then contemplate the long history of The Elms, and finally cruise along Ocean Drive Historic District. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the long history of Marble House, admire all the interesting features of Cliff Walk, then examine the collection at The Breakers, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The Ocean State
