City by the Sea

With coastline on the west, south, and east, Newport is a maritime city with a rich history.
On the 5th (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at St. Mary's Catholic Church and then take in the exciting artwork at Thames Glass. On the 6th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the majestic nature at Fort Wetherill State Park, get to know the fascinating history of Cliff Walk, then see the interesting displays at The Breakers, and finally stroll through Sachuest Beach (Second Beach).

Newark to Newport is an approximately 4-hour car ride. You can also fly; or do a combination of train and bus. New Shoreham is a town in Washington County, Rhode Island, United States. Kick off your visit on the 7th (Mon): take in the waterfront at Mansion Beach, visit a coastal fixture at North Lighthouse, then take in the exciting artwork at Spring Street Gallery, and finally explore the striking landscape at Mohegan Bluffs.
