Fortunate People in a Fortunate Land

A famed resort town since the early 20th century, Santa Monica sits on the picturesque Santa Monica Bay, bordered on three sides by the city of Los Angeles.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Santa Monica: Santa Barbara (Wine Tours & Tastings, Old Mission Santa Barbara, &more), Six Flags Magic Mountain (in Santa Clarita) and Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum (in Simi Valley). There's lots more to do: take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier, get a taste of the local shopping with Third Street Promenade, immerse yourself in nature at Santa Monica State Beach, and don't miss a visit to Santa Monica Yacht Harbor Sign.

For photos, ratings, reviews, and more tourist information, refer to the Santa Monica trip itinerary website.

Expect a daytime high around 66°F in February, and nighttime lows around 51°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
