Scottsdale is a city in the eastern part of Maricopa County, Arizona, adjacent to the Greater Phoenix Area. Start off your visit on the 7th (Fri): pick up some local products at Superstition Ranch Market, then trek along Fountain Hills Lake Overlook Trail, then hike along Sunrise Peak Trail, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Franciscan Renewal Center.

Denver to Scottsdale is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Denver in May: high temperatures in Scottsdale hover around 93°F and lows are around 69°F. You will have some time to spend on the 8th (Sat) before leaving for Sedona.
