Sedona

— 3 nights

Red Rock Country

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Devil's Bridge Trail, Seven Sacred Pools, West Fork Oak Creek Trail, and other attractions you added. Attractions like Cathedral Rock and Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179) make great kid-friendly stops. Escape the urban bustle at Bell Rock and Red Rock State Park. There's much more to do: admire all the interesting features of Oak Creek Canyon, tour the pleasant surroundings at Templeton Trail, hike along Mount Wilson Trail, and grab your bike and head to Huckaby Trail.

Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Sedona trip simple and quick.

Phoenix to Sedona is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also fly; or take a bus. Traveling from Phoenix in May, expect Sedona to be little chillier, temps between 78°F and 54°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive back home.
