The Woodlands is a master-planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in the U.S. Discover out-of-the-way places like Monument Hill & Kreische Brewery State Historic Site and St. Mary's Church High Hill. Venture out of the city with trips to Huntsville (Sam Houston Memorial Museum, Oakwood Cemetery, & more), St Francis Wolf Sanctuary (in Montgomery) and Texas Quilt Museum (in La Grange). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Fire Museum of Texas, admire the natural beauty at Beaumont Botanical Gardens, steep yourself in history at Saint Anthony Cathedral Basilica, and stop by The Woodlands Town Center.

To see photos, maps, reviews, and other tourist information, you can read our The Woodlands online visit planner .

In March, daytime highs in The Woodlands are 74°F, while nighttime lows are 53°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
