Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sat): admire the striking features of Empire State Building, make a trip to Times Square, then examine the collection at New York Public Library, then get a new perspective on nature at American Museum of Natural History, and finally appreciate the history behind 9/11 Memorial. Here are some ideas for day two: take in panoramic vistas at Top of the Rock, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Patrick's Cathedral, then admire the masterpieces at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and finally take in the pleasant sights at The High Line.
