4 days in Ventura & Silver City Itinerary

Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): walk around Serra Cross Park, then brush up on your military savvy at U.S. Navy Seabee Museum, then learn about winemaking at Four Brix Winery, and finally stroll through Ventura to Ojai Paved Bike Path.

Los Angeles to Ventura is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also drive; or take a bus; or take a train. In September, Ventura is slightly colder than Los Angeles - with highs of 76°F and lows of 61°F. You will have some time to spend on the 3rd (Sat) before leaving for Silver City.

Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sun): explore the galleries of Silver City Museum and then delve into the lush surroundings at Gila National Forest. On your second day here, get engrossed in the history at Western New Mexico University Museum.
