Burlington

Burlington is the most populous city in the U.S. On the 14th (Fri), see Vintage Photography Emporium, then shop like a local with Church Street Marketplace, and then enjoy some diversion at Battery Park. On your second day here, fly down the slopes at Stowe Mountain Resort, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Stowe Recreation Path, and then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Mansfield State Forest.

Washington DC to Burlington is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Washington DC in February, expect Burlington to be slightly colder, temps between 32°F and 15°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can travel to Ludlow.

On the 16th (Sun), fly down the slopes at Okemo Mountain Resort, stop by Pierce's Store, then hit the slopes at Killington Resort, and finally take some stellar pictures from K1 Express gondola. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 17th (Mon): experience rural life at North Meadow Farm, then take in nature's colorful creations at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Stratton Mountain Resort, and finally fly down the slopes at Mount Snow Resort.

The Green Mountain State
