Laguna Beach is a seaside resort city located in southern Orange County, California, in the United States. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Newport Beach and Crystal Cove. Get outdoors at Main Beach and Pacific Marine Mammal Center. Get out of town with these interesting Laguna Beach side-trips: Carlsbad (Carlsbad Village & Batiquitos Lagoon), Huntington Beach (Huntington Dog Beach & Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve) and Oceanside (Harbor Beach, Dolphin & Whale Watching, &more). There's still lots to do: trek along San Clemente Coastal Trail, enjoy the sand and surf at Corona Del Mar State Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at The Wedge, and stroll around Aliso Beach Park.

You can fly from Atlanta to Laguna Beach in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -3 hour difference. Traveling from Atlanta in June, things will get a bit cooler in Laguna Beach: highs are around 76°F and lows about 63°F.
