Tombstone — 39 nights

Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
Get out of town with these interesting Tombstone side-trips: Oracle (Oracle State Park & Biosphere 2), Benson (Quarles Art Gallery, The Thing, &more) and Tubac (Tubac Center of the Arts, Tubac Golf Resort, &more). Spend the 30th (Sun) exploring nature at Tumacacori National Historical Park. Next up on the itinerary: explore the different monuments and memorials at Boothilll Graveyard, make a trip to Allen Street, look for all kinds of wild species at Chiricahua National Monument, and gain interesting insight with Goodenough Mine.
