Phoenix to Lahaina is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Mountain Standard Time (MST) to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HST) is minus 3 hours. Expect much colder weather when traveling from Phoenix in July: highs in Lahaina hover around 86°F, while lows dip to 73°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to Hana.

Hana

Hana is one of the most isolated communities in Hawaii, with a permanent population of just over 1,000 people.
Escape the urban bustle at Hana Highway - Road to Hana and Haleakala Crater. Venture out of the city with trips to Wailua Valley State Wayside Park (in Kula), Sliding Sands Trail (in Haleakala National Park) and Charles Lindbergh's Grave (in Kipahulu).
