Step out of the city life by going to Hurricane Ridge and Mount Ellinor. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seattle: Olympic National Park (Second Beach Trail & Olympic National Park). The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
