Orlando

— 43 nights

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
You'll explore and learn at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum and Madame Tussauds Orlando. Bring the kids along to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Orlando: Beach at Daytona Beach (in Daytona Beach), Crystal River (Stand-Up Paddleboarding, Scuba & Snorkeling, &more) and Funny Farm Alpacas (in Lecanto). Have a day of magic on the 25th (Fri) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 1st (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Ormond Beach, find something for the whole family at SeaWorld, get some fabulous bargains at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, and discover the magic at Happily Ever After Fireworks.

If you are flying in from Peru, the closest major aiports are Orlando International Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, Leesburg International Airport and Lakeland Linder International Airport. In January, daily temperatures in Orlando can reach 25°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
