As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Kick off your visit on the 20th (Mon): Head underground at Natural Bridge Caverns, take in the history at Mission San Jose, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get in on the family fun at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, then take an in-depth tour of The Alamo, and then shop like a local with The San Antonio River Walk.

One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.
Explore Dallas' surroundings by going to Fort Worth (Botanical Research Institute of Texas, Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, & more), Arlington (Top O'Hill Terrace & College Park Center) and Tyler (Tyler Rose Garden, Caldwell Zoo, & more). Pack the 25th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Six Flags Over Texas. Spend the 15th (Sat) exploring nature at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.
