Take a break from the city and head to Lanikai Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. Get some historical perspective at Battleship Missouri Memorial and USS Arizona Memorial. Go for a jaunt from Honolulu to Kailua to see Kailua Beach Park about 32 minutes away. The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Iolani Palace, stroll the grounds of National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, and examine the collection at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park.
