The narrow city of Ketchikan clings to the bluffs that form Revillagigedo Island's southwestern shore.
You've added Northern Tours of Alaska, Knudson Cove Marina, Seaside Tours, and other attractions to your itinerary. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Totem Bight State Historical Park and Saxman Native Village. Take a break from the city and head to Snorkel Alaska and Deer Mountain Trail. Juneau is an unusual state capital in many respects.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Sat): explore the striking landscape at Inside Passage, identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, take in the dramatic natural features at Mendenhall Glacier, then admire the sheer force of Nugget Falls, and finally explore the striking landscape at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.

Traveling by combination of ferry and flight from Ketchikan to Juneau takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry. In June in Juneau, expect temperatures between 63°F during the day and 48°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sun) so you can catch the flight back home.
